Maternity tips for the pregnant fashionista

Motherhood is a turning point in a woman’s life, but that doesn’t mean that chic clothing and fabulous accessories have to fall to the wayside. Although maternity styles can seem limited don’t feel confined to wearing baby doll & long flowy dresses for the term of your pregnancy. Here are a few tips & tricks to help you stand out and be a chic pregnant fashionista :

1. 70's glamour: Flares and flowy blouses are perfect for baby bumps.

2. Biker chic: Yes Black leather and studs are in; even for mommies to be. You don’t want to go overboard with this trend so pair soft pieces to contrast the hardness of the biker style clothing. Studded shoes are an easy way to show your tough side or pair a leather jacket with a cute dress.

3. Safari jackets: Safari short canvas coats can be scrunched up and paired with shorts. This works great for days when you want to look chic and sophisticated but really don’t feel like putting the pressure on your ankles by wearing heels.
